What are the differences between the Air 28 Pro and the Air 28?
The Air 28 is a solid, capable e-bike — but the Pro version makes a number of upgrades that are worth knowing about before you decide. The most significant is the Bafang hub motor, which brings noticeably stronger performance across different terrain types compared to the standard model. Alongside that, the Pro runs an automatic transmission that takes care of gear changes for you, making for a smoother, more relaxed ride — particularly useful in stop-start traffic where the last thing you want is to be fiddling with a shifter.
What is the difference between the Air 28 Pro and Air 28 Ultra?
It comes down to the motor. The Air 28 Pro uses Bafang’s dual-speed system, which handles the vast majority of riding conditions with ease. The Air 28 Ultra steps up to a three-speed system, giving you stronger performance when the terrain demands it. If your rides are mostly urban and relatively straightforward, the Pro is excellent value. If you want more capability in reserve — steeper hills, more varied routes, a more powerful overall experience — the Ultra is the one to go for.
