The braided trim closes with hooks and eyes at the back of the mandarin collar and the waistband. The listing is for the dress only, and does not include the cocktail ring.

Condition: There is an ever so slight water type mark on the right side of the bodice, detectable when the light is hitting it.  I'd wear it like this before cleaning.  The fabric is in great condition otherwise with no underarm staining.  Looks barely worn.

Comfy and cute.
I was looking for a Converse alternative for a multitude of reasons. These were perfect. I love the slip-on style. The leather laces stay in place much better than the Converse cotton laces and there is way more sole support, which is a huge plus. Otherwise, I'm happy with both purchases so far and will continue to buy them in the future.
