The beading forms a peacock feather design that runs across the bodice and around the back. The design then circles the entire bottom half of the skirt. Puffed netting sleeves add a delicate, feminine touch and each has a strip of glossy black sequins running down the outer edge. It is wearable with care of course - it is almost 100 years old after all! Really a work of art, not just a piece of clothing. The lucky girl who gets this will be very pleased indeed. Hand done and finished. Excellent, museum quality condition

The dress is unlined and slips over the head to wear. There are some tiny breaks in the netting on the sleeves and very minor sequin loss - please see pictures. Nothing to the degree that I would consider a major flaw.
Note that antique and twenties pieces are final sale. They will be packed exceedingly well and we only sell pieces that will stand up to the stress of shipping, however, having pieces potentially shipped multiple times through multiple customs and countries is too hard on garments that are historically important and deserve to be treated with love and care. Please purchase accordingly
